Paying a blackmailer almost never ends it — it invites more demands. Do not confront them and do not delete the conversation: quietly screenshot the account, the chat, and every link, and keep the copies somewhere only you can reach. Then block.
Protect the images from your own phone
If you are 18 or over, StopNCII.org creates a fingerprint of the image on your own device — the image itself never leaves your phone, and no one in your life needs to know. Participating platforms (including Facebook and Instagram) then block it from being uploaded. If you were under 18 in the images, NCMEC's Take It Down does the same, free.
If it is posted, we prepare the takedown
Paste the link and we prepare the right platform report, pre-filled with the framing platforms accept, for you to send in your own name. Free, private, and you never contact the person who did this. We cannot promise removal, but real content has come down through us.

Someone is threatening to send your photos to your family
This is the most common attack in Pakistan, and it works through fear and silence. Remember three things: it is a crime (not your fault), paying does not make it stop, and you do not have to face this alone. Real photos shared without consent, or your face edited onto something explicit
Under PECA section 21, publicly sharing sexually explicit images of someone without consent — including superimposing a person's face onto explicit material — is a crime punishable with up to five years in prison and a fine up to five million rupees, and it is non-bailable. Whether the photo is real or fake makes no difference to your right to have it removed. Paste the link; we prepare the platform report.
A profile pretending to be you
A fake Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp presence using your name or photos. Every major platform has an identity-report form for this, and it works from Pakistan. We pre-fill it with the framing that gets a real response instead of an auto-reply, and you file it in your own name — without engaging the impersonator.

Both free, both work from Pakistan, and both run on your own device — the images never leave your phone. StopNCII for adults; NCMEC's Take It Down if you were under 18 in the images. No one is notified; no account in your name is created.
PECA section 21 — the law behind you
Sharing sexually explicit images of a person without consent, morphed or real, or using them to intimidate, is a crime: up to five years' imprisonment and a fine up to Rs 5,000,000 — seven years where the victim is a minor — and it is non-bailable. You do not need to hire a lawyer for the platform takedown; the law is context that platforms respect.
NCCIA — when and if you choose
Formal complaints go to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (which took over from the FIA Cybercrime Wing in 2025). Filing a complaint is your decision, on your timeline — it is one of your options, not a requirement, and nothing we prepare requires it. The evidence you saved in step one is what makes it possible later.
