Photos or videos shared without your consent
Even if you took the photo yourself, even if you consented to the recording — sharing it without your consent is a crime in the Philippines. RA 9995, the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act, punishes copying, selling, or publishing intimate images without written consent with 3 to 7 years imprisonment and a fine of 100,000 to 500,000 pesos. For intimate images, we also point adults to StopNCII (the hash is created on your own device — the image never leaves it).
Someone is blackmailing you with photos or a video call
A stranger from a dating app or Facebook recorded a video call, or an ex is threatening to send images to your family. This is extortion, and it thrives on silence. Do not pay — payment almost never ends it. Save the evidence, block the account, and report it: to the platform (we prepare that report) and to the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group. You never have to face the person, and it is not your fault.
If you are (or were) under 18 in the images
The law protects you more strongly than anyone else. Use NCMEC's Take It Down (free, the hash is created on your device) and report to the PNP Women and Children Protection Center. Under RA 11930, the Anti-OSAEC law, platforms must remove child sexual abuse material and report it. Do not use a self-serve adult tool alone for this — the child-protection channels are faster and stronger, and we will always point you there first.

RA 9995 — Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act
Copying, reproducing, selling, or publishing intimate images without written consent is a crime — even if the person consented to the recording itself. Penalty: 3 to 7 years imprisonment and a fine of ₱100,000 to ₱500,000. Courts can also order the content taken down.
RA 11930 — Anti-OSAEC Act (2022)
For anyone under 18, platforms and internet providers are legally required to take down and report child sexual abuse and exploitation material. If the images involve a minor, this is the law that applies — and the reporting channels are faster.
PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group & DOJ Office of Cybercrime
The police unit and the Department of Justice office that take cybercrime complaints, including sextortion and image-based abuse. The PNP Women and Children Protection Center handles cases involving women and children. Our notice pairs with a report there: the complaint reports the crime, the platform report gets the content down.
